Attention parents of students in grades 5 through 12:
 

The Region 16 Device Protection Plan for Chromebooks is now available for purchase with either a check to your school's main office or with your credit/debit card via LINQ Connect at https://linqconnect.com.

The price of the protection plan is $35 per plan and it covers up to two incidents of accidental damage to your student's Chromebook between the purchase date and the start of the 24-25 school year.  Click here for more information on what the Protection Plan covers (and does not cover).

If paying by check, make the check out to Region 16 Schools and include the name of student the protection plan is for on the memo line.  You can write one check to purchase multiple plans if you wish, just make sure to write all the students names on memo line. 

If you purchase via LINQ Connect, there is an additional charge above the $35 that goes directly to LINQ Connect to cover the credit card processing.  If you are purchasing the plan for one device the fee is $2.60 for a total of $37.60.  If you are purchasing the plan for multiple devices the total fee is 3.95% of the total purchase price.  This fee is only paid when using LINQ Connect and a debit/credit card to make your payment.  If paying by check, the cost is $35 per plan with no additional fees.
