Based on their academic history and their individual learning needs, students considered for entry to the H.A.W.K.S. program require an alternative learning environment to earn a Woodland Regional High School diploma.
These students may
be in danger of not graduating in four years due to credit deficiencies.
be chronically absent, for medical and/or non-medical reasons, from WRHS.
have been identified via various academic, medical, social indicators and/or behavioral indicators that they are struggling to succeed in a “traditional” high school setting.
have been identified by a support staff member or administrative staff due to previous educational placements, infringement effect on school, class, and/or staff.
