Recycling Program
Winner of the 2009-2010 Recyclable Program is Mr. Macmillen's Class. Congratulation to them! This year the contest was very close and the participation was amazing. The runners up were Mrs. Walker's class with 130, Mrs Carpenter's with 115 and Mrs. Schoenwald with 108. Thank you to all the parents and students that have gone out of the way to collect ink cartridges at their place of work/home/friends/family, and a special thank you to parents who children are not here at Community anymore but still take the time and effort to bring us their recycables. This was a one of the best years yet, we kept over 700 ink cartrdiges/toners out of the landfills! I am hoping next year be even better and to that end I am asking all parents/guardians to start collecting for the next school year and if your children are moving on to the middle school please fill free to drop off your recycables outside our front doors at your convienience.
